What is language?
- Language is essentially an encoding where an object is abstracted with a symbol (verbal or visual). The word ‘elephant’ in itself is not the object in itself, it is just an invocation of a symbol to communicate about the object in question.

Evolution of fiction
- For facilitating cooperation in larger societies, fiction was needed. Fiction is what builds cooperation between even unknown people. Money, country, ideology all are just plain fiction.
